Thiopentone dose decrease in:
1) hypovolaemic shock – smaller Vc: increased fraction to brain, slower removal (less bood flow to ther tissues)
2) age – ?smaller Vc ?pharmacodynamic ?slower redistribution to rapidly equilibrating compartment
3) sex – female lower as smaller Vc (more fat)
Thiopentone dose increase in:
1) obesity – ?reason
2) high cardiac output
3) children – higher Vc
Propofol
elderly - CL (hepatic Q)
female - Vd, CL, t1/2 same
fentanyl CL
