T4 replacement if TSH is in lower end of normal range

RAI scan
thyroglobulin: thyrogen protocol
routine followup
Recombinant human TSH
0.9 mg IM for 2 days
increase TSH as much as if a patient becomes hypothyroid
RTSH thyrogen
Tg scan on day 5

thyroid cancer treatment
causes: papillary cancer: good prognosis
diagnosis: identification of thyroid nodule via palpation, ultraounds, FNA
treatment: attempt to remove all thyroid tissue: surgery, radioiodine; T4 replacement if TSH is suppressed or is in the lower part of normal

thyroglobulin levels
RAI scan
TFTs: TSH low/normal
