First part enclosed in axillary sheath, with axillary vein and brachial plexus. It has only one branch, the superior thoracic artery which supplies first and second intercostals muscles.
Second part lies deep to pec minor. Its branches are the Thoracoacromial artery, lateral thoracic artery.
Third part extends from inferior boarder of pec minor to inferior boarder of teres major muscle. Its branches are subscapular artery, anterior circumflex humeral artery and posterior circumflex humeral artery.
Then becomes the brachial artery
