  • G6PD-deficiency with triggering factor (favism)

  • Venom of certain snakes or spiders (Loxosceles sp)

  • Paroxysmal cold haemoglobinuria (among others with tertiary syphilis)

  • Hypersplenism (generally causes subicterus)
