Disp 1 tablet (per appointment)
Sig take 1 tab 1 hr before dental appt on empty stomach
Ingredient: atropine sulfate
NOTE: give P.O. (oral) dose 30-60 minutes before procedure that requires xerostomia effect; duration of action 4-6 hours; significant drying of eyes can occur (may be a problem with contact lens users); because of mydriasis, avoid dental light in patients’ eyes, or shield eyes appropriately. Before use, consult with physician oif significant medical history of cardiac disease, glaucoma, urinary or G.I. problems (see contraindications and side effects).
