Kwasiorkor (displaced child) seen more in children or people with cirrhosis of the liver the classic manifestation is edema in the child who still have subcutaneous fat. The edema is usually ascites or in the ankles. High mortality. (protein deficiency)
Marasumus Starvation, deficient in all nutrients.
Protein energy malnutrition is where both of the above things belong. These will also cause brain damage in the young ones.
