2. Are films identical?
3. KvP for proper body parts:
1. 70 – Cervical
2. 80 – A-P thoracic, A-P lumbar
3. 90 – Lateral thoracic, Lateral lumbar
4. 60 – 70 for all extremities.
4. Grid lines should not be visible.
5. There should be an even collimation border, a minimum of 3 sides with visible collimation.
6. Sources of motion:
1. Patient
2. Bucky
3. Film not clamped in tray
4. Tube
7. Re-establish film baselines annually, or with a change in film type.
