1. Patient dose measured in rad’s
2. Occupational dose measured in rem’s
3. There is generally no exposure seen in chiropractic
4. Lead aprons and gloves must be provided for those holding the extremities of patients.
5. Personnel monitoring should include badges and thermoluminescent dosimeters.
6. Re-takes double the patients exposure for a single film.
7. Limit beam size with collimation, sectional filters and shields/aprons.
