      1. Pelvis includes protrusio acetabuli with Kohler’s teardrop and thickening of pelvic brim

      2. Long bones: the tibia is the m/c lytic site


    1. Complications

      1. Deformity of bone include: Shepherd’ crook deformity of the proximal femur (coxa vara), Saber shin (ant. Tibial bowing), Protrusio acetabuli.

      2. Cranial nerve neuropathies b/c foramen get smaller.

      3. Linked to increased wear and tear, early DJD

      4. Increased alkaline phospatase (up to 20x normal)
