Types:
  • Lepromatous Leprosy (LL): Cell mediated immunity is low; Leonine Facies
  • Tuberculoid Leprosy (TT): Cell mediated immunity is intact; peripheral nerves affected; few leprae bacilli and lesions
  • Indeterminate
  • Borderline ( BT and BL): Unstable; low immunity

Clinically
  • Multibacillary Leprosy : LL,BB and BL
  • Paucibacillary Leprosy: TT,BT and indeterminate
