•O2 demand > supply
•Usually occur at a given myocardial workload (SAME O2 DEMAND)
•Calculation of workload:
-Double product: systole BP x HR = work load
-triple product: HR x BP x ejection fraction = workload
•Upon resting, pain subsides
•depression of the ST segment
•Treatment: cardiac work CO O2 demand.
