Description and Symptoms

Tan to brown scaly plaques that have a “stuck-on” appearance. Often occurs more with age.

Diagnosis

Clinical. Biopsy can confirm.

Pathology

Unknown etiology.

Principles of Therapy

If irritated or cosmetically bothersome, these can be removed with liquid nitrogen or curettage.
