1. If ffd is increased 100% you have to quadruple the mAs.
2. If ffd is increased 50%, double the mAs
3. The further a patient is away from the tube the less radiation they will receive, even though mAs must be increased to counter longer distance.
-Half Value Layer: Thickness of an absorbing material necessary to reduce the intensity to ½ of its original value.
-Hard xrays have high KvP’s, Soft have low KvP’s.
