Common use of antacids—decrease absorption
TBW decreases with age so half-life decreases
Decreased albumin due to decreased protein synthesis
Decreased GFR, creatinine clearance
decreased muscle with more fat
decreased liver volume with reduced perfusion
lower metabolic activity
