Cholesterol stones (20%):
Solitary or multiple.
High cholesterol states, pregnancy, DM, Pill.
Strawberry Gall Bladder- is cholesterosis of GB with mucosa studded with sub-mucosa cholesterol.
Bile pigment stones (5%):
Small, black, irregular, multiple and gritty.
Haemolytic anaemias.
Mixed stones (75%)
Multiple.
Generations of stones
Due to precipitation of cholesterol.
